Stuff I Like (Right Now) | Statement necklaces and ‘eating clean’

Summer intern Jackie Hoermann is embracing technology, going bold with statement necklaces and learning how to “eat clean.”
www.tumblr.com. I’m far from technologically inclined, but if I can build a blog, anyone can. Tumblr is the easiest, most attractive option for novice blog-builders, and there are dozens of free themes.
Urban Outfitters’ Little Birch Jewelry Stand. Bringing nature indoors has never been so chic. At $32 it’s not a steal, but the jewelry connoisseur can’t put a price on decorative organization.
Gold’s Gym 3-in-1 Jump Rope is weighted for extra challenge. Jump for 10 minutes, burn 100 calories. I like those figures.
Statement necklaces: I can’t keep my eyes off them. True to their namesake, they’re worn to make a statement, often using bold colors or heavy metals.
KC Photobooth. These folks ( www.kcphotobooth.com) are taking over the KC wedding scene. What a nostalgic way to capture the big day — not to mention it’s absurdly fun. Why did photo booths ever disappear in the first place?
Eating clean. Although I’m in my early 20s, my cholesterol has spoken, and it’s time to “eat clean.” Goodbye, Standard American Diet (SAD) — processed foods, high-fat meat and dairy products — hello, fruits, veggies and other complex carbs.
